Another Fire-sale Saint?

So Pope Benedict XVI has decided to fast-track the beatification of the late Pope John Paul II. It is sure easy to get to be a "Saint" in the New Relativistic Vatican II Neo-Catholic Church. For starters, JP II or possibly Paul VI abolished the safeguard that was commonly called The Devil's Advocate. The job of that person was to try to dig up any and every reason why a person should NOT be beatified by the Church. Then JP II either officially or unofficially did away with the traditional waiting period. For 1900 years it had been the tradition of the Church to wait many years or even several centuries before considering the beatification of any person. John Paul II began the practice of starting the beatification process almost before the corpse had cooled down to ambient temperature. As a result of creating more "Saints" during the past 26 years than all of the 263 popes had over 1950 years the term "Saint" became almost meaningless. It's like printing money the way the German government did during the 1920s. Very soon the money became so worthless that it took a wheel-barrow full of paper money to buy a pound of meat. John Paull II Created so many "Saints" that the designation became worthless.

On a more practical note, how can anyone, even in their wildest imagination, even contemplate ever beatifying the pope who personally oversaw and directed the Church during it's greatest decline in all of its 2000 year history? If the CEO of General Motors ran the company the way JP II ran the Church the company would have gone down the same road as Packard, Studebaker, Nash and other car companies. Such a CEO would be lucky to escape being tarred and feathered by the shareholders, and most certainly wouldn't be fondly remembered.

So far, Pope Benedict XVI is not off to a good start. At his first Mass he gave Communion to Brother Roger, who is the Protestant minister who runs the Taize organization. Then he appoints Bishop Levada from San Francisco to replace him aa the defender of the faith for the whole world. This is the same Levada who found a way to pay married benefits to Sodomite couples who are employed by the San Francisco Diocese. It's the same Levada who is known to have covered up for sexually deviant priests by moving them around from parish to parish. And now Pope Benedict XVI gives him the job of safeguarding the Catholic Faith worldwide!!!

I am a cradle-Catholic born in 1930. I have been a teacher in a Catholic school and as a young man I did hundreds of hours of volunteer work to help instruct people who wanted to convert to Catholicism. Even in small-town Canada we used to have so many converts every year that the priests couldn't keep up with instructing them without some help. Then came along Vatican II, and very soon the Church was in free-fall. My home town used to have a large convent with dozens of nuns who ran a Catholic school (K-12) and also a Hospital. After Vatican II first the school was abandoned, then the hospital and finally the convent shut down because there were no nuns left who were young enough to do anything. I am still a Latin Rite Roman Catholic and will remain so as long as I live. I am saddened beyond words at what Freemason Cardinals and Popes have done to my beloved Church.

And now it seems that the worst is yet to come.
