Saddam Hussein's trial started yesterday and has been adjourned until November 28.
He is charged with being directly responsible for the deaths of more than 100 Iraqis.
I wonder if anyone can think of a man who is responsible for the deaths of an estimated 100,000 Iraqis. I'll give you three guesses and the first two don't count.
I wonder if both of these men shouldn't be sitting in the dock charged with murder. Why is it a crime to be resonsible for the deaths of one or two hundred people but it is not a crime to be responsible for the deaths of 100,000 people?
